How many seats do I need?

The number of seats you need is dependent on how your gym uses RGP. Here is an example of how a gym would use RGP Cloud with a CLOUD6 deployment: (2) Front Desk Computers, (1) Check-In Computer, (1) Back-Office Computer, (2) Mobile Managers. In this example, (4) seats are tied to computers and (2) are tied to managers using 2FA mobile authentication.

What is an RGP Cloud Seat?

A seat is similar to a unique login (Username/Password) that is required to access RGP Cloud. Each seat is secured one of two ways (1) Specifically paired to a physical computer (e.g.; “FRONTDESK1”) OR (2) A second-factor authentication code (2FA) that is texted to your cell phone. Only 1 computer/person can use an individual seat at the same time.

What is RGP Cloud?

RGP Cloud is exactly what it sounds like – it’s the Rock Gym Pro software accessed in the cloud. With RGP Cloud, your database and RGP information is securely hosted on a remote server that we maintain. So the only thing you need to access RGP Cloud is an internet connection and a lightweight Windows computer. Learn more.

Why does RGP Cloud cost more than “Host Your Own”?

When we set up your RGP Cloud deployment, Rock Gym Pro actually sets up a physical server for you in the cloud. Instead of you purchasing and maintaining your own server, you are now paying for a server in the cloud setup and maintained by RGP.

What are the advantages of RGP Cloud vs. “Host Your Own”?

With RGP Cloud, we set up and maintain your server so you don’t have to. This means you can reduce or eliminate IT maintenance/hardware costs. The only thing you need to access RGP Cloud is a lightweight Windows computer that connects to the internet.

Do I need to use RGP Cloud?

No, if you are currently using the installed version or if you are new and have the necessary IT resources you can host your own RGP server, database and network.

What hardware will I need to run my facility with RGP?

You’ll need an internet connection, barcode scanner, cash drawer and receipt printer. Learn More.

Which credit card processor is used with RGP?

While you can use a standalone credit card terminal for your POS transactions, we recommend using the integrated OpenEdge payment processing feature for the most efficient front desk workflow (US and Canadian customers only).

Can you help me import data from my current software?

Yes. We’re happy to help get your customer data into RGP for a small one-time fee.

I have more than one facility. Can I use RGP?

Yes! If you’re on a PLUS or PREMIUM Plan, you can link the databases of multiple remote facilities together to offer seamless member check ins to your customers.

Will my data be backed up?

Yes, your Rock Gym Pro data is backed up in near real-time.

Do you offer a discount for nonprofits?

Yes. RGP offers a 10% discount to nonprofit organizations. To request the discount, contact us with a link to your organization’s website and your TAX ID Exemption Number. We may also require your nonprofit documentation for approval. Please note: We are unable to provide retroactive discounts on past orders.
